In September of 2012, we found ourselves in New Orleans. This slideshow is just a small sample of what we experienced during our short visit. Although, it wasn't Mardi Gras, we still had an enjoyable visit. We could NOT resist the French Quarter and Bourbon Street. My most memorable and enjoyable moment was at "Bootlegger's" where we heard the Blues from "Spring".

High Dynamic Range photography (HDR)
What is HDR Photography?
High Dynamic Range photography or HDR photography is an advanced set of
photography techniques that play on image’s dynamic range in
exposures. HDR Photography allows photographers to capture a greater
range of tonal detail than any camera could capture thru a single photo. The link below gives full detail of high dynamic range photography.

Post Processing a 3D Collage with Fire Text Print Can Be Time Consuming
Post processing is the work done to a digital image after it is taken with the camera and transferred to the computer.
For the 3D collage image below with the "Rockets fire text", the first step is capturing an appropriate action shot with my camera at a game. Next I create a Photoshop file with multiple layers for all the components of the final collage image.
One key component is the "fire text". Fire text can be created as described in this YouTube Tutorial.
This particular image is 16x20 in size and takes approximately 2 hours post processing time to complete.
My price for this type of image is $45.00.

Dragan Effect Photos
February 1972, I enlisted into the United States Navy. After basic training I was stationed aboard the aircraft carrier USS America CVA-66. After 4 years aboard, my enlistment came to an end. In 2008, I began attending the USS America reunions which occur every 2 years. After 32 years of not being in contact with shipmates, the reunions made it possible for old shipmates to come together once again. It is good and a lot of fun to attend and be with fellow shipmates and reminisce of the old days. These photos are of some of my fellow shipmates that have been edited in Photo Shop with an effect that is new to me called the Dragan Effect. If anyone would like to attempt to create a
"Dragan Effect" photo, here is the YouTube tutorial link.
